It's good to have cargo. Makes us a target for every other scavenger out there, though, but sometimes that's fun too.

now have geeky university library awe

You're Willow!

The research sounds interesting. Since you don't know what the focus would be, there's no point in asking whether it's women professors in specific subjects, or in general, right? So I won't ask.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

At this point, in general, but that could change if I find a thread for, say, the science/math professorate that I want to follow.

I'm a-skeered.

YAY!

Actually I distracted myself from work to map out a movie schedule for Saturday. I think I am going to aim for 5 movies.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Frank, have you been to Kowloon in Saugus?

Never been there. I haven't been anyplace out on Rt. 1, other than the Hilltop back when I was a kid. Everything out there just seems so...Rt. 1-ish. Though the old Weylu's Mountain place always amused me in theory.

Also, have you gone to the Thai place in the sad Salem mall place?

I have been there a few times, and I rather like it - good pad thai - but it has been a couple of years at this point. I often have Thai with friends in Boston, so I don't usually crave it when I'm on my own - it's a cuisine I like but don't love.

I have not been to the Thai place on Washington Street in Salem.

Virtually jumping up and down and typing "you can do it!" in all-caps is not going to help, right?

I think I am going to aim for 5 movies.

Wow. Which movies?

I wish I could just go somewhere to get flensed but none of the whaling ships near me take Medicare.

Timelies!

Nilly! ::bounce::

I'm really messed up on my sleep. I either have a sinus headache or severe RSI pain or am generally exhausted when work is over so I end up taking a "nap". Which lasts 'til 9ish and then I'm up 'til 2 in the morning, then I'm supposed to get up at 7. This is not working well for me. Yesterday I should have been working on getting the resume together.

Well, I won't be able to escape tonight because I made an appointment to meet a friend to work on job stuff after I get out of my therapist appt.

I am intrigued by Rt. 1 cuisine, namely Kowloon and the German Sausage Kitchen. I also want a roast beef sandwich with a side of cheeseburger at the Kelly's that's on that stretch. It's possible I should stop travelling on Rt. 1 because it puts weird and dangerous ideas in my head.

Anyway.

Nora, if you want, my roommate Rosemary works in the Roche Art & Architecture library, and I'm pretty sure I can volunteer her to offer you some help looking up sources and so on. Let me know if you want her contact info!
