Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

I'm also looking at this one without the arm rests, but it doesn't come in any color I like. (The grey-on-grey might be a little too much).

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Tom, that silver is gorgeous.

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

I think grey-on-grey is fine. It's all on how you accesorize. With hardwood floors it's very easy to put down throw rugs that really pop. A few pillows and some artwork and voila, there you are.

I love that chest you picked out for the bedroom, it's such a lovely rich color.

tom, I prefer the first couch and that dresser is beautiful. I think you have found a new calling!

The second couch gives me a little more flexibility to move stuff around. I can move the chaise next to the air conditioner in the summer, and away from the radiator in the winter.

Yeah, the flexibility of that one is great. My big issue with sectionals has always been that they sort of dictate the entire set up of your home. I don't think the gray on gray is a prob - get some black and white patterned cushions or something and it won't be too monochromatic.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

I vote for deep orange cushions (which I notice Crate & Barrel is selling) or clear yellow cushions with the grey couch. I love all your choices, Tom. The wall color, the couch, the bedroom set. I am really picky about furniture and you done good!

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

That chest is great, Tom. As are the silver walls. I suck at the rest of it, though.

Slick watch. Totally not what I'm shopping for, annoyingly. Oh, look! Pink.

I don't want anything that's either too modern or too frou-frou, and Crate & Barrel seems like a good fit for me.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Theodosia, I'm glad the back is being not so bad.

I love the new walls and the furniture choices, Tom. Yay for decorating!

Can we send you plad polka dotted art to hang on the wall?

ita, go pink, choose pink.

I am going to get my hair cut and colored today. Yay!
