If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Heh. I love the idea of contacting Canadian Senators for anything more important than restaurant reservations, but what a response.

Puppies!!!

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I would really like a life-time appointment that allowed me to mouth off in public.

Obviously it is my turn, and I'm stumped as to what to write back.

"Wow, small world. Thanks again for agreeing to write the forward to my book."

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Perkins, my cats don't pee in their carrier, so sad for you that yours do.

Makes new note in the "not so nice after all" file

"Wow, small world. It's always great to discover these connections. So what did you think of the book?"

Thanks. Er he hasn't agreed to write the forward. He has agreed to look at it to consider to doing so - which is a hell of generous thing for him to do with his time. Your advice still applies; just did not want to mislead anyone about how far along I am in the process.

Oh, I misread. Then go with Brenda's. Obviously great minds think alike, and "Wow, small world" is the only possible opener.

Librarian Warlord

Typo Boy, is your befuddlement about what to write because you think he may believe that you knew of this connection all along and were trying to use to to gain his favor?

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

All ita's fault.

Hey!

Hmmph.

I kept coffee on hand at all times--and some time after that, I started keeping coffeemaking apparatus on hand too. I finally drink it once or twice a week, so it's not as theoretical. I also keep beer and gin and other alcoholic beverages that I don't drink on hand.

No decaf coffee though. It seems wrong. Decaf tea, though, as well as herbal, and a number of undepleted black teas.

Yes. Thanks again for the aid for the social skills deficient.

t On Edit

Yes to the going with "Small World". No to the "afraid he thought I knew about the connection". I undertand your wondering if I was really clueless enough not to know what to say next. Yes Virginia, there really are people that find this whole "dealing with other human beings" thing hard.
