Illyria: We cling to what is gone. Is there anything in this life but grief? Wesley: There's love. There's hope...for some. There's hope that you'll find something worthy...that your life will lead you to some joy...that after everything...you can still be surprised. Illyria: Is that enough? Is that enough to live on?

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Pop is not a Milwaukee-ism at all. Though bubbler is.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

See, that's exactly why I have one glass french press for company, one stainless steel for every day use and one lexan for backpacking and/or visiting people who don't drink coffee.

I liked my Chemex when i had one, but they seem to break more or less spontaneously.

brenda, do let me know if they open up a rift in the space-time coninuum. I don't know why I suspect that they would, but I do.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

Plei, did you see my post about Baby Doll lotion?

I did! I meant to respond, then work ate my head.

I'm willing to take it off your hands, if you've still got it around.

PS,

PIRATES!

We actually had three french presses at one point. The one I stole from my parents, the one we bought, and the single-serving one.

Of them, I think only the single-serving isn't broken at the moment.

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

Why are the people running my state being so stupid?

Aw, geez, Gud. The rampant stupidity and short-sightedness on display in that article are making my stomach cramp. Also the mental gymnastics involved in reading that the author and main supporter of a competing amendment to override the ban and restore contraceptive funding were both Republicans, and that several of the handful of Democrats in your state leg. happily went along with the ban.

I've got several - I got rid of the plastic-frame ones, but I've got a few different stainless steel ones, and a travel mug one that is actually the most useful of them all. I used to use that at work when my company had really crappy coffee.
