"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Fuck, now I really want oysters.

Come to San Francisco! I'll buy you oysters.

I had Kumomotos last week. Mmmmmmm, so good.

You can't leave me to my own devices; my devices are Nap and Eat. -Zenkitty

TAR:

OMG, I love the cutie nerd couple!

So, are no non-elimination legs at all? Phil's speech at the beginning made it sound that way.

I love how Phil was mugging the camera for all it was worth.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

It's not the texture I hate (although I dislike the feeling that I've just bitten into a slug) so much as the distinct flavor of raw bile that fills my mouth.

I've been told that our Pacific Ocean oysters are inferior and I should try East Coast oysters.

The more I learn, the more I realize how little I know.

Genghis Khan and the Making of the Modern World is a good book. Interesting history, very well told.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

I'm fine with most veggies as long as they aren't overcooked. It's fruit that I have texture issues with. Berries with all those tiny seeds, hairy skins, all the fibrous structure in citrus fruits. If you get rid of all that texture I often like the flavor.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I've been told that our Pacific Ocean oysters are inferior and I should try East Coast oysters.

I think they're just different, honestly. But man, good Wellfleets taste just like the ocean. In a good way.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Bell peppers are pretty much one step up from cucumbers from me--just water holders, with a pleasant texture.

Huh. I feel exactly the opposite. Pacific are smaller and more flavorful. East Coast are bigger and creamier.

I prefer the smaller which are perfectly oceanic in flavor. Kumamotos are the smallest and firmest ones I've eaten. Best flavor too.

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

Sean, Phil specified that only eight legs are going to be elimination. Which is par for the course.

Oh, and I agree that Team Slacker isn't vicious enough a nickname, just because they are so into coasting their way through life. Just, ick. I thought of a better one for Dave and Lori, though--Team Geek Love! They're so cute together.
