I've gotten lots of tchotchkes over the years from scientific supply companies, including an umbrella with constellations on it, my current brief case, a tie with tiny chemical element symbols on it, and a postcard of a naked lady from one particularly progressive company.

First day on help desk and it's been slow. Desperately waiting for 6pm to arrive so I can go home. Still have 8 tickets to close, and I probably could have taken care of most of them with how slow the phones have been today, but no, I had to just sit here. Ugh.

Is anyone else watching Top Chef? I just watched the pilot (iTunes has it for free), and duuuuuuuude am I hooked. It's like Iron Chef meets The Apprentice before it got boring. Total reality TV trash, with food!
