Doesn't matter that we took him off that boat, Shepherd, it's the place he's going to live from now on.

Thanks, Nilly! I have been lurky, but I forget that, well, no one knows if you're only lurking.

I missed the Girl Scout cookies this year. No Samoas for Jen. So sad. But, some friends did send me a box of Thin Mints, bless 'em.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Perkins! I've skipped - are you on jury duty?

Sadly, yes.

Coding and Sleeping

It was the other day in Kansas/Missouri. So I guess the closest to Erin/Gud territory, if anyone?

Storms missed me almost entirely, there were a few seconds of hail but that was it. I grilled some chicken outside with a soutwest style marinade that night. Erin proabably got more weather, but not any of the serious stuff.

I wish I could just go somewhere to get flensed but none of the whaling ships near me take Medicare.

Nilly!

I like hamentaschen, especially apricot hamentaschen.

Doing my usual of lingering in my warm bed checking the 'net before taking my bath. Wish the Starbucks free coffee thing started earlier in the day since I have to be in the office by 8:30. I'm scrounging for ideas for a quick breakfast and bringing lunch to work. I think my laziness about braving the grocery store crowds is finally catching up with me. I want to eat low sugar/starch but it's hard if I don't go to work prepared. I cheated and had some office pretzels yesterday since I hadn't brought enough food of my own.

Swouncing

Sadly, yes.

Oh, I'm sorry. I hope it's over soon.

proabably got more weather

I love the English phrasing of this. In Hebrew, we would say something like "got a stormier weather" or the like, but I prefer the "more weather" phrasing. It's like there are places with less wheather - and what do they have instead? Jiant air-conditioners?

Librarian Warlord

I love hamentaschen, with any filling. But I've always thought of it as not as Hamen's ear but Hamen's pockets following the German word for pockets (Taschen).

Of course, what I love best is the kids dressing up part.

Perkins, so sorry about jury duty. Remember the good old days when a law degree pretty much meant an automatic dismissal?

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

was there a post in here in last few days linking to a blog with the subject line of geek love or geek attraction? The blog entry had an old picture of Bill Gates laying on a desk.

Anyone?

Argh. Is it too much to ask that when someone says they'll have something back to you on a particular day, they will? When it's already a month late? Is it?

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

It's like there are places with less wheather - and what do they have instead? Jiant air-conditioners?

In Jamaica we don't have much weather--the temperatures are pretty constant, as are the thunderstorms.

Well, outside hurricane season anyway.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Crap. I just called the woman I have a noon phone appointment with, and she didn't pick up! I'm getting a little peckish, but I feel confident that as soon as I have food in my mouth (whether that's 5 minutes or an hour from now), she will call.
