Hey, that's my uncle's farmland you are talking about! No nukes. And my cousins would show up to counterprotest the protesters.

I'm infuriated by the crazies, but cause of my ties there, I can't wholesale support ditching the state.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

I just got an author Information Questionnaire that is giving me a heart attack.

Please describe how your book could be most effectively translated into a television segment on a popular show like Oprah, The View or The Today Show.

National media — please list in order of importance any journals, magazines or newspapers that you feel are most likely to review your book.

What are three “hooks” or ideas that your book can be tied into for media interest? What points do you believe should be emphasized in the promotion of your book? Are there any circumstances connected with the book that might have news value? Are there any special dates that could tie in with your book?

Is there anything about the book or author that is unprecedented, trailblazing or surprising? Does it reveal any secrets?

I can't answer these questions! I need to enclose headshots, too.

I feel like a fraud.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Dude, seriously? Your book is one big hook! It's the alternative to all the OMG MYSPACE IS SO EVOL 4 THE CHILDRENS articles that are everywhere right now. Including Vanity Fair.

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

Jeez, Allyson -- doesn't your publisher have a marketing department? Isn't all that what they get paid to do?

It totally would be right and perfect and hilarious for parts of the same communities you are writing about to do your questionnaire....
