Someone remind me - after which season did Sorkin leave? Because I stopped watching shortly after that, I think.

SO freakin' adorable
I think it was after the fourth, which was why the fifth season sucked so hard.
Lately I'm watching old Sex and the Citys. I adore how inappropriate Bunny is.
4th season was Sorkin's last, I think. I still would have kept up with The West Wing but I had so many weeks where I couldn't see the show and I missed BitTorrenting the missed episodes. So now I have to stay unspoiled until the DVDs come out.
I tried to watch WW but it was interrupted so many times by weather alerts that I gave up. At least the local ABC affiliate only preempted commercials so I got all of GA.
I'd probably have been horrified if she were played by another actress. But since I like Frances Sternhagen MUCH more than Kristen Davis (or anyone else on the show except maybe Kim Cattrall), it was all in good fun.
I didn't realize Sorkin was there through the 4th season. So, it's worth dealing with the sucky 5th season for what comes after, then? I guess I need to add WW to my collect-the-DVDs list.
From what I've seen in the sydicated episodes on Bravo, 5th season is just horribly bad, but S6 is good in that they move into the new presidential campaign, so new blood and redistribution of the old characters, but it is more fragmented as a result. Same with S7, but now that they know they're in the last eps of the series, they're finally wrapping up long-ignored relationships and plot threads.

Type in some numbers (like, say, your birthday or ss#) and this searches the digits of Pi until it finds them. If I enter my birthday in mmddyyyy format, it shows up after some 78 million digits. Huh.
