Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I roasted some awesome brussels sprouts the other week. Everything is good roasted.

TAR has a kind of funny geeky team!

Yeah, that was hilarious. It's nice to already have people to hate, too.

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

I blame you all for the black noodles I had tonight.

The one thing I can't bear, texture-wise, is water chestnuts. Gah. I have mushroom issues too, but the chestnuts are the worst.

Is this the diced white stuff that sort of has the texture of ice? Whatever that it's the worst of the crunchy vegetables.

I don't even mind like broccoli and the like, it just goes so poorly with, say, greasy glass noodles.

I do like me some dim sum.

hip deep in pie

I love team geek too.

I just read about a new book where a guy travels around eating illegal, inderground foods. It sounded totally disgusting: [link]

I doubt it will surprise anyone here, but Shonda Rhimes is a Buffy fan. [link]

“That’s not out of left field. It’s not something I consciously set out to do or planned for, but I loved ‘Friends.’ I watched ‘Friends.’ I’m still not over the loss of that show, or of ‘Buffy,’ which was a show that at its heart was about relationships.”

Q:Talk about influencing how people speak, I think Joss Whedon is probably the most influential writer on people of our generation.

“Yes. He’s amazing. I still miss ‘Buffy’ and ‘Angel.’”

Art Crawl!!!

I like this season of TAR better already!

Also, on GG, Quester: how old should Gigi be? I really don't remember. Also -- LANE & Zack!!! Wasn't she cute when she was all confuzzled with newly engaged love? They'll be taking Luke and Lorelai's wedding date, right?

Water chestnuts are awesome! You crazies probably hate jicama, too, huh?

I really want to hate the guy who pulled off the road, but he keeps saying daggummit! which is making it hard.

S to the A -- using they/them pronouns!

SA, how good is your credit? I think you're going to have a hard time with that anyway, but it would be a place to start.

Like for credit cards?

Pad thai acquired. *Man* it is good. Like so, so good. and I love the woman that owns the restaurant in town--she's so nice! Grabs my hands every time and, with a big smile, says "Thank you for coming in!"

I am fine with hating that guy, Brenda. He already swore at his wife! And she's all surrendered spouse. Ew. Predictably, I'm enjoying all of the "quirky" teams -- the nerds, the hippies, the gays.
