Well, we may not have parted on the best of terms. I realize certain words were exchanged. Also, certain... bullets. But that's air through the engine. It's past. We're business people.

Art Crawl!!!

Remember that Oldest Pony story? I googled the story hoping to find that the BBC had picked it up and had a picture.

Instead, I found this website with and even older pony AND a picture.

I checked rationing ended in 1950 so the pony was born in 1947 and if it's still alive would be 59 years old!

Art Crawl!!!

Or maybe not -- 1950 is the date fuel rationing ended. Hmmm.

Okay, I think that the pony (if alive) is 55 -- born in 1951.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

What time of year do air conditioners go on sale? Should we buy now for the summer, or wait until Memorial Day weekend?

Hey, no one has told me anything.

And I should add, there have been a couple of Very Big Announcements that came to us in the most bassackward manner possible.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

There's a chance the next shuttle flight will be delayed. Dunno if that counts as a "big announcement."

msbelle, I get a "server too busy" error.

Nevermind. Here it is:

NASA is planning to make a huge announcement today, about possible life in our own solar system.

Exact details of what we can expect to hear have not been released. We do know that evidence has been found that could point to life relatively close to the earth.

Official word is expected this afternoon at 2 p.m. We'll have complete coverage of today's big news when it is released. Tune to News 13 for the complete story.

Cool. I hope it's better evidence than the Mars meteor.

If it turns out to be true it would make me very happy....

"Mister Spock is on his fanny, sir. Reports heavy damage."

possible life in our own solar system.

Um, standing right here?

Not to get altogether too picky, but, ambiguous semantic contraint does that to a girl.
