I don't think I'm at a record, but I've managed to rack up 21 more or less what could be considered permanent address changes in 48 years. That's counting the two different places in Spain as one because I had an FPO for those 3 years. I haven't included couches slept on or bases where I went for training between permanent duty stations even if I could because I pretty much never got mail there even if I was there for 4-6 months. However, I can say I've been in the same city now for 10 years, which is a pretty awesome achievement in itself after spending so much time picking up and going in the Navy. (If counting all the couches and in-between places, a grand total of 29.)
Tom, pretty room!
whee! mail.
does this mean you got yours?
Uh huh.
I'm doing this for survival, not for enjoyment.
That's why I worry.
does this mean you got yours?
Whee indeed!
Hey, some of Heidi's maternity clothes were designed by last year's designers!
I like the Kevin Johnn dress, but not so much the Kara Saun dress.
8 homes in 22 years. Which is one every three years, about. I'd never really thought about it before, but that's quite a lot.
I'm currently living in my twentieth home.
As of August, I'll have been in this apartment for 20 years. Rent control, ahhhh, sweet rent control.
Previous that that, I moved around a bit what with being an Air Force brat. 15 total including the current place.
A friend of mine deliberately moved every 2 years until she got married, and then swore that they were going to quit doing that. She closes this month on her third house in the past 4 years. OTOH, I do think they are going to stay put at this one, given it's where they want their kids going to school.
