These girls have the most beautiful dresses. And so do I -- how about that?

Great quote from William H. Macy, in that USAToday blog.

Macy talked about the Oscars: “I love the Academy Awards, and I love Hollywood, but I think we have got to remember it is all about marketing when it is all done. I know this is not the thing to say, but to a certain extent, it is at the expense of the actor. I think she has handled herself with great aplomb. It is a really tough night because on one hand, it means the world, and on the other, it means nothing.”

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

I feel so mean and dirty, but I can't help myself. I totally want to marry this fugging.

Awesome! Especially the advice about a dragon eating your husband's foot. (Not your husband's foot. But I bet Emmett would get a much bigger kick out of March of the Dragons.)

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

Wow, Allyson, your nephew is brilliant.

I think the baby einstein DVDs are working.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

And he's cute too. What DVDs are you giving him to make that happen?

Art Crawl!!!

Chloe is just the best charcter on 24. I fear for Tony Almeida's life. Also, Spawn is a waste of space AND time.

And the trailer for XMen III was lots of fun.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Especially the advice about a dragon eating your husband's foot. (Not your husband's foot. But I bet Emmett would get a much bigger kick out of March of the Dragons.)

Ooh - that'd be cool. Cuz the dragons would bite you, and then wait several days for infection to get to you before they kill and eat you.

Allyson, I'm really glad you have the nephew to entertain. After the hellish holidays I experienced, the bright point was making a Dominic sandwich with pillows and the gleeful giggles I so had to endure. I wish the last part on you. Cause...wee boy giggles! Soothes the heart.

Books, ita.

Kat suggested a book called, "When Sophie Was Angry."

It's his new favorite, and on the way to the funeral this morning, I asked him what Sophie does when she's angry.

He looked at me, and in a very melancholy voice said, "She criiiiies."

"And she runs!"

And so that was VERY CUTE!

I think maybe on Thursday (we're only sitting shiva for three days, because we're very advanced Jews) we shall go book shopping. His birthday is inly a few days before mine at the end of the month, and so really, letting him loose in a bookstore is a present for me, right?

Tonight he was wearing his red footie jammies, all bundled up like the little boy in a Snowy Day.

I also got to boast of you, ita. My brother is very interested in Krav, and has heard of your Centre.

Oh, man Allyson, this fellow auntie is melting, I say, melting.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

What sarameg said, Allyson. Too cute.
