Allyson, I'm really glad you have the nephew to entertain. After the hellish holidays I experienced, the bright point was making a Dominic sandwich with pillows and the gleeful giggles I so had to endure. I wish the last part on you. Cause...wee boy giggles! Soothes the heart.

Kat suggested a book called, "When Sophie Was Angry."

It's his new favorite, and on the way to the funeral this morning, I asked him what Sophie does when she's angry.

He looked at me, and in a very melancholy voice said, "She criiiiies."

I think maybe on Thursday (we're only sitting shiva for three days, because we're very advanced Jews) we shall go book shopping. His birthday is inly a few days before mine at the end of the month, and so really, letting him loose in a bookstore is a present for me, right?
