All right, yes, date and shop and hang out and go to school and save the world from unspeakable demons. You know, I wanna do girlie stuff!

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

That's the one mandatory montage, though. And someone always makes me shiver. Plus I get to guess again who they'll end with.

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

I didn't knoww Les Nesman died!

Nice to see an actual soundless fade to completely black before commercial. Glad Clooney did the intro too.

Is there a way to make him more endearing? Can we get a shot of him cuddling one of the penguins?

S to the A -- using they/them pronouns!

Clooney was adorable in his acceptance speech too.

Kiss me, my girl, before I'm sick.

Heh. I love this Nationwide commercial with the home-made destructo-robot.

Did Will just say something like "Philadelphia is a great place to spend Christmas"?

Will Smith's accents? Less cute.

I KNOW! I can't even remember what he said on the carpet, but I remember it was adoreable. Even Mr. Jane thought it was adoreable (though he may not have phrased it that way).

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

I think that was the first cryer of the night (the foreign film winner).

I wish I could just go somewhere to get flensed but none of the whaling ships near me take Medicare.

I nearly always love the foreign film acceptance speeches. I really dug Hood's acceptance speech.
