The resolution would recognize "a Christian god," and it would not protect minority religions, but "protect the majority's right to express their religious beliefs."
'Cuz we really do need
more
protection of the majority's right to fuck with the minority....
more protection of the majority's right to fuck with the minority....
Exactly! it's that old "giving acknowledging the rights of the minority deminishes the rights of the majority" falacy.
Someone upthread was speculating about Bush ties to the UAE.
That was me, and it's comforting at least to know that I'll never go broke speculating that every decision this adminstration makes is in its own/crony's interest, and certainly not in the interest in the people of the country.
Is there a Vegas line I could get in on? I could be RICH I tell you, RICH.
t /fucking vomitously disgusted
Can Missouri's resolution be challenged under our Constitution? I thought we were supposed to have a separation of church and state? How can the state (any state) acknowledge an official religion?
The resolution would recognize "a Christian god," and it would not protect minority religions, but "protect the majority's right to express their religious beliefs.
Again, vomit. These people have not one fucking bit of Christ's love flowing in their ugly, bitter veins. fuck them too.
Nora's swear-a-palooza, sponsored by the word "fuck."
My sister wants my six-year-old to be her flower girl. The thing is, I have a little boy, not a girl.
I spoke to the woman who runs the bridal salon and she said she's seen this several times and if the boy doesn't mind, it's a lot of fun.
I have heard that this is uncommon, but does occur from time to time. Some sort of Little Lord Fauntleroy impulse run amok.

I wouldn't want to be Nora's blood pressure cuff today.

I'm sure it can, but it has to pass first. I don't know how much support this will actually have.
We started here within a month of each other. It's a really good move for them and I'm happy for her, but damnit.
My company is urging people to relocate, and so far I've already lost one chatting partner, and fear I'm to lose another.
The reason they want to move? So they can own property. I point out that the property won't be in California, and mostly they admit that's on the con side of the evaluation, but not enough.
