Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.
That's okay. People need to know.
I need to know when they are actually going to air the damn episodes. (And they just better!!)
soooooo sleepy.
The rain kept waking me up. Does sick time cover sleepiness?
Bleh.
I'm glad the migraines are less constant now, ita.
I'm sitting here waiting for my dad to call about Mom's surgery. (She finally had a hysterectomy today. Or, so I assume. Since I haven't gotten the "She had it, they're done, everything's fine" call.) I'm wondering if Dad just forgot to bring his cell to the hospital. [has brainstorm] [calls Dad's cell] [gets voicemail] [so much for brainstorm]
Ah pointless dithering. How I do love you.
Hello Buffistas -
Don't know if someone already noted this, but the BlogFather (Glenn Reynolds) has a podcast interview with Tim Minear here.
Cross-posting to Minearverse and Firefly threads.
The rain kept waking me up.
Rain is for sleep. Have you gone native?
I'm glad the migraines are less constant now, ita.
No, sadly. The exercise-induced is on top of the one-a-day migraines.
Your brainstorm might have worked--it could be sitting in his car or something.
Okay, I gotta go to the office and get donuts.
mmmmm...donuts. Now I want donuts. Thanks, ita!

Well, you did credit sumi, so there's at least that.
Calli, I hope things clear out soon.
Shari!
Not sure if this has been posted before....
Australian scientists are set to announce the discovery of a species of flatworm which is a member of group of predators known as oyster leeches. Emma Johnston of the University of New South Wales said the creature -- named Imogine lateotentare -- is one of the simplest organisms known, but its behavior is quite complex, the Sydney Morning Herald reported Friday. [...]
The creatures have both male and female parts and engaged in a sexual practice somewhat like penis fencing. To reproduce they try to stab each other with their genitals and the first to penetrate inserts sperm and then goes on to spar with another flatworm. The "loser" lays and broods the eggs.
Does sick time cover sleepiness?
Sure! I've totally called in (usually late rather than out for the whole day) because I slept poorly. I consider it a service to my fellow commuters!
