Literary Buffistas 3: Don't Parse the Blurb, Dear.
There's more to life than watching Buffy the Vampire Slayer! No. Really, there is! Honestly! Here's a place for Buffistas to come and discuss what it is they're reading, their favorite authors and poets. "Geez. Crack a book sometime."
I, too, love Kanye like whoa. This bit about the reading, however, is just plain wrong. Stick to making the music, man!
To combat Kanye: Kid keeping a lending library of banned books in her locker.
P-C, I read about that yesterday, on a totally different blog. I guess it's hit Internet critical mass.
It's the second time it's been posted on b.org, I'm pretty sure, so I agree with your assessment.
In the comments are some links to earlier posts by the same person that suggest it may be a hoax, but I'd rather believe it's real.
t ignorant non-romance reader
Sooo, how big a deal is Romantic Times? I have very vague knowledge of them. Apparently they're starting a non-fiction book review thing this summer, and they want to feature the Gothic Charm School book.
It reaches a decent amount of readers, Jilli. It wouldn't be a bad thing at all.
Yeah, Jilli-- they do the most reviews of genre romance and as such, reach a pretty huge audience.
Oooh. It turns out that one of their editors is a big fan of my site and loved the video I posted today. Yay!
