'Heart Of Gold'

Literary Buffistas 3: Don't Parse the Blurb, Dear.

There's more to life than watching Buffy the Vampire Slayer! No. Really, there is! Honestly! Here's a place for Buffistas to come and discuss what it is they're reading, their favorite authors and poets. "Geez. Crack a book sometime."

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

"You are quite beautiful, Princess Bronwyn," Spikengard sang...

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

Somebody needs to confiscate his thesaurus. Also his computer or any writing implement in reach.

oh joy! Oh Rapture ! I have a brain!

I never read the Blue Sword until today, I am sorry to say. Now If only it could erase some fo the bad fantasy I've read...

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

Beth, try The Door in the Hedge (my favorite--short stories) and The Hero and the Crown. And of course, her classic, Beauty. Those are my favorites of hers.

Looking forward to them -- I had read somethings by her, but nothing quite as powerful.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

I love The Blue Sword, much more than The Hero and the Crown. I admire the latter, but Blue Sword has my heart.

I also love The Outlaws of Sherwood and her retelling of the Sleeping Beauty fairy tale, Spindle's End.

Oh, I'd forgotten Outlaws--yes, that one's lovely. Spindle's End is a sentimental favorite of mine, too.

Check your profile addy, Dana.
