Literary Buffistas 3: Don't Parse the Blurb, Dear.

There's more to life than watching Buffy the Vampire Slayer! No. Really, there is! Honestly! Here's a place for Buffistas to come and discuss what it is they're reading, their favorite authors and poets. "Geez. Crack a book sometime."

Ann, that's a ferret.

I loved the Another Fine Myth series. (Pervert. No! Pervect!)

I also read the first Thieves' World book. It was very well done but exactly the wrong thing when you're in the mood for something light and entertaining.

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

This is the sort of thing that makes me feel old. I knew Bob back in the Yang the Nauseating days. This is like the sixth recent death of people I knew in my early con-going days.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

William Carlos Williams fans will appreciate today's Wondermark.

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

I left early for work today to stop by the library and then completely forgot to do so.

I've got Poisonwood Bible. huh, she just used "irregardless". I wonder if it was a purposeful insight into that particular narrator.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Here is how much of a nerd I am: I kind of want the Barrayaran Military Academy t-shirt available here: [link]
