Now that's a story, Matt. Seriously.
Buffy ,'Same Time, Same Place'
Literary Buffistas 3: Don't Parse the Blurb, Dear.
There's more to life than watching Buffy the Vampire Slayer! No. Really, there is! Honestly! Here's a place for Buffistas to come and discuss what it is they're reading, their favorite authors and poets. "Geez. Crack a book sometime."
Wow...my initial guess was West Wing fanfic. Couldn't have been farther off, huh?
And ITA with erika that Matt's idea is a story.
Definitely not limited to that, but I can see where that would be top notch fodder.
Oh, I didn't mean fan fic. I thought it was a canonical X-Men character. Why I thought that, I don't know, because I haven't read X-Men or seen the films.

It is. Warren Worthington III a.k.a. Angel. You might have seen him in the trailer for the new one. [link]

That's OK, I thought it was jet airplane fanfic a la TOP GUN. I guess that could be Tail Fic too.
the other character must show them they are beautiful via sexual intercourse (sometimes in midair).
None of you has pointed out the hilarious understatement of the above. Really, I don't think Evelyn Waugh could be drier. (Not that Evelyn Waugh could even dream of such a concept.)

That was my thought -- something vaguely military, with planes.
For what it's worth, Patterson's books don't *seem* to be slashy, though, although I certainly can't vouch for the subtext.

I thought that was a furry thing.

It all depends on how you interpret the line "You can ride my tail anytime."
