Literary Buffistas 3: Don't Parse the Blurb, Dear.

There's more to life than watching Buffy the Vampire Slayer! No. Really, there is! Honestly! Here's a place for Buffistas to come and discuss what it is they're reading, their favorite authors and poets. "Geez. Crack a book sometime."

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

Did anyone see the story in the NY Times about a woman who sold her memoir about growing up with the gangs of LA ... and, just before it hit the stores, it turned out it was a fake?

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Random tidbit gleaned from the internet today:

Ursula K. Leguin and Philip K. Dick were classmates at Berkeley High School, class of '47. They didn't know each other though. (It's a big school.)

Well the K. was for Ursula's last name when she was in high school, Kroeber.
