$2 for a used copy from their "marketplace sellers." Or was it $2 at Amazon and I missed it? That would be tragic.
Didja nae click da link? All is explained behind the link.
(What the link explains: not a tragedy.)
But it does seem to have been remaindered so if you do have a bookstore that specializes in remaindered books (and don't we all), you should be able to find it on that particular Failed-Publishing-Venture table.
It's still a great book! Also, this edition has cool illustrations.

I did click the link, which is why I was confused. And am even more so, now. It's $9.97. Or it is for me. ...Is this one of those things where they're offering people different prices? That would explain the mutual bewilderment.
It's still a great book!
Oh, I know & agree. I read it a couple of times, but I don't own a copy and should. I think it's on my wish list, which is why I'm wondering if Amazon is trying to mess with me. Grr.

Dang, once again not on the list. I KNEW it would affect my chances if I didn't actually, you know, finish anything this year!

I have the Crusie/dude book. I am having a hard time reading fiction at the moment, so factor that in. It has all the patented Crusie snark, but I'm not finding myself caring about the characters as much as I usually do. YMMV.

Just finished
A Million Little Pieces
this morning before I came to work. Despite the controversy, it was a fabulous book. I really liked his style of telling "his story".

At some point the Pulitzer people will become aware of blogs and enter into the present era.
