I can't think of a book that fits this description
Speaking of...I just popped in Book the Second from the Lemony Snicket "Unfortunate Events" series. Don't think I can hang with the oppressed orphans story line...even with Tim Curry's reading. Yesh.
I got both HP7 (gift from DH) and
Vampire People
(gift from self) this weekend. Guess which one I'm reading more avidly?
I did get some amusement out of starting HP7 while hanging out with DH and periodically exclaiming "OH NOES!!! That's not who I wanted to die!!!" Until he threatened to kill me.
That doesn't work as well with
Vampire People,
but my exclamations over Allyson's book are more genuine and heartfelt. It's perfect.
Don't tell me who dies in Vampire People! I want to be surprised.
The WB kills The Bronze! Page 88!
The WB!?!?!! But, I was sure they were the good guys!!! I mean, they saved the show that one time, and there was the whole thing where that one person just
had
to be wrong!
And Firefly got a totally stupid and pointless death, so I refuse to accept that it's really dead.
There's a potentially dangerous situation at the end! I won't tell you what happened.
Oh the spoilers! I am spoilt!
There's a potentially dangerous situation at the end! I won't tell you what happened.
Hint: it involves a turkey. And wireless internet.
I was there.
Um, is it a spoiler if I'm posting, cause I'm still alive?
