That's 48 hours TOO LONG.
Although, I am reading quite a bit of fic. (Thank you very much!!!)
I sometimes wonder if there's something wrong with me that I'm this invested in a work of fiction where I just feel every little thing that they feel.
And then I look around at all of youse and think, "Well, if there's something wrong with me, there's something wrong with them and I'm ok with that. We're all wrong together."

Toddson, if you want to give it another shot, keep going. The first book is not the bestest ever; it mainly introduces you to the world. The third book is where most people got truly hooked, I think.

Yeah. The first book was a well-written kids book. The second was kind of eh -- set up a lot of stuff that would be important later, but not so great on its own. The third is where it starts really getting interesting, and then the fifth is where it definitely stops being just kids books.
