'The Train Job'

Literary Buffistas 3: Don't Parse the Blurb, Dear.

There's more to life than watching Buffy the Vampire Slayer! No. Really, there is! Honestly! Here's a place for Buffistas to come and discuss what it is they're reading, their favorite authors and poets. "Geez. Crack a book sometime."

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Yo, David, I was just coming online to tell you how much I like your article in the Oxford American. Excellent work, my man!

Yeah! Thanks, Cor. Nice picture too, huh?

People will definitely stop at that page.

Punishingly Intricate

As far as I can tell, you'd have to be damned unlucky to get spoiled in here, because as far as I can tell people are talking out of their behinds.

I'm sure I'm just being paranoid!

I am going to get mine at my comic shop on Friday night. Pretty sure... no, absolutely sure I wouldn't have a "my comic shop" were it not for this place. Board, I hug you lots.

Am curious about where your comic shop is! Signed, DE Native.

Mine will be at my friends' store this week. And we are getting together for HP-theme drinks and, inevitably, Guitar Hero before they are allowed to sell the books at midnight. fun!

It's in Newark proper, off of Main St., pretty near the beginning of it on the right - in a plaza that has an organic grocery store and several other stores. You can't see it from the street. It's called Captain Blue Hen, and it's awesome - they're so nice.

I love the name "Captain Blue Hen"!!!

I'm pretty sure that wasn't around when I would have been hanging out in Newark back inna day. Of course we mostly were at parties at Skid Row and at movies at the State Theatre. Oh, and at the arcade on Main St.

Captain Blue Hen is an awesome name.

I don't think that my comic shop carries novels. So sad.

Captain Blue Hen is an awesome name.

I know, right? He has his own seal: [link] (U. of Del. sports teams are the Fighting (Fightin'?) Blue Hens, for context to anyone not lisah, by the way. Delaware has a lot of chickens.)
