It's actually been a really hard year, when you stop and do the math. Eliot would cry, too, if it didn't take him seventy minutes of therapy, two cocktails, and a Sondheim medley before he can experience a human emotion through the haze of his PTSD.
I forgot about that one! We're going to the beach in a month, so I'll add that to my to-read pile!

I think you will enjoy it, I definitely did! The world-building is, as always, terrific and absorbing, the characters are great, there are two very satisfying romance storylines and the murder mystery is very good.
