Oh, nice. I was wondering how that would become a series, different shows in the same world sounds interesting

Literary Buffistas 3: Don't Parse the Blurb, Dear.
There's more to life than watching Buffy the Vampire Slayer! No. Really, there is! Honestly! Here's a place for Buffistas to come and discuss what it is they're reading, their favorite authors and poets. "Geez. Crack a book sometime."
Maybe this has already been discussed, but I just read CINDERWICH by Cherie Priest and y’all should all read it if only for the character that is obviously based on Atropa.
Ooh I was at a Seattle book launch event for that! (With Atropa in attendance, of course).
I am BEREFT right now because I've been listening to Allie Therin's Sugar and Vice series but I didn't realize before I started that Book 3 isn't out yet!! And Book 2 ends on a terrible cliffhanger!! (Not really, I'm confident I know where this is all going and it's going to be FINE, probably.) (Also Book 3 comes out literally next month, so this is not a Locked Tomb situation.) (But still.)
Ooh, I read and liked her other two series but hadn't started that one...
I started the first one when it was released but I wasn't in the mood for it back then, so I put it aside and only remembered I had it in my audiobook library a couple of weeks ago.
Added to my holds...
Feel kinda odd sitting in my actual library using their wifi to manage my Libby shelf
I started reading the first Dungeon Crawler Carl because I’ve heard so many good things about it, but the first few chapters seem to be almost entirely exposition. Does it get better?
ltc has started read The Hunger Games. She has become absolutely feral if we interrupt her while reading
In case anyone else was waiting for it, the sequel to the fabulous The Adventures of Amina al-Sirafi by S.A. Chakraborty came out a couple of weeks ago. It's called The Tapestry of Fate, and though I'm not loving it as much as I loved the first one (which would be hard to beat), I'm still enjoying it a lot. [link]
