I don’t know and now I’m interested. I pretty much only listen on my phone , and while you can download books and keep them on the phone to listen to offline I don’t know where the file is stored or if you can access it any other way than the app. You can get to your library via browser but maybe only for streaming. I think I used to have something that could download the audio stream in that situation but it’s a long time since I’ve actually done it.

Literary Buffistas 3: Don't Parse the Blurb, Dear.
There's more to life than watching Buffy the Vampire Slayer! No. Really, there is! Honestly! Here's a place for Buffistas to come and discuss what it is they're reading, their favorite authors and poets. "Geez. Crack a book sometime."
From what I can tell Chirp is locked into their app or stream from the website. I no longer want to purchase things I can't own.
Sensible
In other news, I'm reading The Raven Scholar and enjoying it a lot.
Ooh, so good. That reminds me, I should look for her historical mysteries
I just finished The Retired Assassin’s Guide to Country Gardening. It’s set in NZ, and I quite enjoyed it. I preordered the next in the series.
As subject lines from emails go, this is pretty good: You finished If, Then. What's next?
That is good!
I finally had my kaffeeklatsch session with Lois McMaster Bujold. There were three of us winners there, so the conversation was pretty rambling, but I'm happy to report she's already working on the next Penric & Desdemona, and it will fall somewhere in the middle of the existing canon. I mentioned wondering what's going on with Adelis, and she promised she does plan to bring him back into the main story eventually.
Thank you for sharing, Susan! Always good to hear there’s more Penric on the way. I would definitely like to know how Adelis and his wife and her extended household are getting along…
