I love the whole Temeraire series and probably need to reread soon.
Literary Buffistas 3: Don't Parse the Blurb, Dear.
There's more to life than watching Buffy the Vampire Slayer! No. Really, there is! Honestly! Here's a place for Buffistas to come and discuss what it is they're reading, their favorite authors and poets. "Geez. Crack a book sometime."
"Creative Types" romance series by Joanna Chambers and Sally Malcolm
I liked this series - fun but not the most memorable? Joanna Chambers is one of those authors I always *almost* love.
Yeah, that sounds right. I was trying to recall what I liked about the first thing of hers I read and I couldn’t remember anything except that I did like it.
I have a shiny new Cat Sebastian burning a hole in my Kindle and yet I keep choosing to read KU trash instead so I won't have to be finished with the Cat Sebastian book and not have it to look forward to anymore.
Oh, I know that game.
I have a shiny new Cat Sebastian burning a hole in my Kindle
I have that on hold at the library!
I stupidly forgot my kindle at moms the other day, and I haven’t had the energy to drive up and get it. So, I had ltc pick a random book off my bookshelf for me because I couldn’t decide, and now I’m reading Amaya Witch and absolutely loving it. I told her she can read it when she gets to middle school.

PSA: Paladin’s Faith now available as an audiobook
I was so utterly delighted when this notification popped up for me today!! I'd almost forgotten I was waiting for this book and now here it is!!
I'm currently listening to Bullshit Jobs which is alternately fascinating and infuriating. (Fascinating because I think his overall premise about the proliferation of bullshit jobs and their impact on our collective psyche is legitimate and well-observed. Infuriating because too many of his specific examples are just his white collar / academia friends whining.)
Nice! Adding it to my list. I still have to listen to the third one. I like them much better as audiobooks. I’m also enjoying the Murderbot books much better on audio.
