Hahahaha, I'm in a mood where this makes me want to read it more! I did read at least one random Lord John short story that was in an anthology, I think more likely a couple, but I don't recall having any kind of reaction to them so not much guidance available there
I have to admit I gave up on the Outlander books after book ... three? maybe? ... they were too long and were getting too confusing for me. I did like the first ones; I've never seen the series, although I've read some things about it (and greatly admired the actor playing Jamie).
