Sir? I think you have a problem with your brain being missing.

Literary Buffistas 3: Don't Parse the Blurb, Dear.

There's more to life than watching Buffy the Vampire Slayer! No. Really, there is! Honestly! Here's a place for Buffistas to come and discuss what it is they're reading, their favorite authors and poets. "Geez. Crack a book sometime."

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

I basically spent today reading Piranesi. I have no regrets. Susanna Clarke is good at what she does.

THERE'S A NEW SUSANNA CLARKE BOOK WHAT OMG.

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

Were people aware of Goodnight Dune?

Yay! I decided that now is the time to finally read The Testaments, but I'm sure I can switch into thinking-about-Piranesi mode with no trouble

Whoever suggested Princess Pulverizer books for ltc, thank you! They're fantastic!

Thank you, again Cash! We're only on the first one, but she got the boxed set for her birthday after I added it to her wishlist.

Maybe I'll get her one of the Kitty books for Halloween.

We were trying the newer Amelia Bedelia chapter books, but ltc wasn't getting the puns so they weren't keeping her attention. I'll put those aside for her to read when she's a little older. They're very different from the Amelia Bedelia's I read as a kid.
