It's new ... I'd pre-ordered it, forgot its release date and then, one day, it was there! (I got it in e-book format ... not sure if it's in print) Also, recently re-read "Into the Drowning Deep" ... and still enjoyed it. Wasn't quite as scary, since I knew how it would end.
Literary Buffistas 3: Don't Parse the Blurb, Dear.
There's more to life than watching Buffy the Vampire Slayer! No. Really, there is! Honestly! Here's a place for Buffistas to come and discuss what it is they're reading, their favorite authors and poets. "Geez. Crack a book sometime."
That's exactly how I got The Starless Sea. Living in the future
I'd pre-ordered it, forgot its release date and then, one day, it was there!
I love when that happens!
I just got Starless Sea from the library this AM and I'm about 25% of the way through.
After I posted in here my signed copy of The Starless Sea arrived with a bonus keychain! I may try to start it tonight.
I am also about 25% through Starless Sea!
Pix: twins!!
Starless Sea is SO GOOD. It's a delight from beginning to end.
I binged through Emma Newman's Split World series I the last week. It was really well done and creative, and ended better than I feared. Good stuff.
I like Starless Sea a lot so far, but The Ten Thousand Doors of January has some striking similarities, and I think it's better. So read both!
