I had no idea she was 88. She seemed so vital and so *young* always.
In other news, I just read my first Laura Lippman, Sunburn, and it was fantastic. Will be disappearing down that hole for a while.
Laura Lippman is generally fantastic, and the reviews of her latest are rapturous.

I haven't read Sunburn , but I'm a big Lippman fan in general.
Sunburn is so great -- it's a noir at the beach, basically.
