Although that usage may indicate that they heard something about it somewhere and thought it might entice someone who wouldn't ordinarily look at them.
Literary Buffistas 3: Don't Parse the Blurb, Dear.
There's more to life than watching Buffy the Vampire Slayer! No. Really, there is! Honestly! Here's a place for Buffistas to come and discuss what it is they're reading, their favorite authors and poets. "Geez. Crack a book sometime."
msbelle - do you read murder mysteries? I've started a series about an interior decorator who specialized in midcentury modern and dresses like Doris Day, I thought it might amuse you
YES PLEASE!
FTR I am reading my first Stephanie Bond. My previous murder mysteries have tended toward more dark and disturbing/gritty than light, but I seem to only manage light right now. Reading Romance and listening to audiobooks for anything deeper/tougher.
Msbelle, on that note I highly recommend Red White and Royal blue. Alternate universe where a woman was elected, and her son falls for the prince harry equivalent.
The series is Mad for Mod by Diane Vallere, first book is Pillow Stalk
Insent, msbelle
thank you!
Apparently Shonda Rhimes is adapting several Bridgerton novels (a well-known romance novel series by Julia Quinn) for Netflix with a multiracial cast: [link]
I've read maybe 3 of the books? I remember really liking the one with Colin and Penelope in particular. Anyway, color me psyched!
I've seen Quinn posting about this, and between this and the Leigh Bardugo universe coming to Netflix, I am over the moon.
That sounds awesome!
