Literary Buffistas 3: Don't Parse the Blurb, Dear.
There's more to life than watching Buffy the Vampire Slayer! No. Really, there is! Honestly! Here's a place for Buffistas to come and discuss what it is they're reading, their favorite authors and poets. "Geez. Crack a book sometime."
Also, I looked at my bookshelves last night and realized there are two other standalones I'd forgotten - Endless Blue, which is more science-fictiony, and Eight Million Gods ... which is kind of weird.
no no no no ... if this is for real .... son of cockygate?
Ooh, this new one should be fun to watch, considering that one company that has used the title Dragonslayer in commerce (including a novelization) is Disney... In 1981.
Oh man, Disney will sue daycare centers for trademark infringement. Trying to trademark something they've had media under the name of for almost half a century? [link]
Yeah. Never fuck with the mouse.

Is there an easy way to make a digital list of all of ltc's books for people who want to buy her books to refer to. I know you'll be shocked, but my kid has a ton of books.
Library Thing? You could have collections of books she has, books she wants, and plus yours too.
I've been using it to keep track of how many books I've read this year. Up to 50 and there's plenty of time left in the year to make 100. I may have to switch to slim and elegant little novels after all the lengthy Hilary Mantels.
Octavia Butler is today's Google doodle.
