Woot! I'm going to get a credit from B&N!
Literary Buffistas 3: Don't Parse the Blurb, Dear.
There's more to life than watching Buffy the Vampire Slayer! No. Really, there is! Honestly! Here's a place for Buffistas to come and discuss what it is they're reading, their favorite authors and poets. "Geez. Crack a book sometime."
I'm thinking of using my credit to buy the ebook version of Hamilton. I read an interesting 2 star review of it from someone who seems to be an Aaron Burr fan.
Somehow I think this might lead to a rabiit hole of reading lots about the founding fathers.
$21! Sweet! Maybe I'll use it to get the new Temeraire book...
And I opted for paperback version of Hamilton since it was the same as the ebook and this seems like the type of book I'll want to hold while I read. It'll be waiting for me when I get back from my trip.
I got a friend hooked on Hamilton, and she gave me the Hamiltome as a thank you. Score!
What is the Hamiltome?
It's a book that Lin-Manuel Miranda co-wrote about the development and production of the show: [link] (Rumor has it I'll be getting it tomorrow as a BD present.)
Oooh! Nice.
In other news, I've already spent $8 of my $12.56 settlement, for two books (used). Yay.
...I got more than $300. I may have a kindle addiction. Also, WOOT MOAR BOOKS!
