Ooh, good one.

Literary Buffistas 3: Don't Parse the Blurb, Dear.
There's more to life than watching Buffy the Vampire Slayer! No. Really, there is! Honestly! Here's a place for Buffistas to come and discuss what it is they're reading, their favorite authors and poets. "Geez. Crack a book sometime."
That works.
I just finished Queen of the Night by Alexander Chee and I'm just annoyed that I stuck it out.
Being a Count probably contributes to my thinking Batman is a good visual. Because The Count could definitely play The Batman in a muppet production.
I'm currently working on an upcoming exhibition at work called "The Art of Alchemy", and I'm geeking out like a big ol' very excited geek, 'cause DISCOVERY OF WITCHES! And Shadow of Night! And Book of Life! An hour ago I was 2 inches away from an open 12 foot scroll of actual alchemical drawings and symbols and text, and I just wanted to hug it so badly. And make prints from it to hang on my walls. (Also, it smelled so wonderful.)
It was very hard for me to not ask the curator if there would be video of a recreation of the Diana's Tree experiment. (Although apparently there *will* be video of at least some alchemical experiments, so squeeeee!)
Ooooh, how cool!
Polgara, that sounds amazing!
Sometimes my job is awesome. I kinda want to send a fan letter to Deborah Harkness and be all, because of you I am loving this exhibition!

Awesome, I am geeking out right there with you. You should go ahead and write her. She's really nice and approachable -- good dinner party guest, as it turns out.
Polgara, that's so very cool
