Up until the punching, it was a real nice party.

Literary Buffistas 3: Don't Parse the Blurb, Dear.

There's more to life than watching Buffy the Vampire Slayer! No. Really, there is! Honestly! Here's a place for Buffistas to come and discuss what it is they're reading, their favorite authors and poets. "Geez. Crack a book sometime."

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

RIP Harper Lee

RIP.

My horrible first thought was, "Oh, so that's why there's going to be a Broadway show."

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Yeah, I said to my coworker, do you think she really only died just now?

Umberto Eco, RIP.

Cool musicians, actors, and writers. Or maybe God's just picking out candidates for a colony somewhere else.

God has a sense of humor. Or enjoys chaos in elections. It would explain Trump.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Tom, you are hilarious and brilliant

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I have been braced for Harper Lee for a while now, but Umberto Eco is hitting me kind of hard. He's the reason I know that there is a field of semiotics! I guess it's kind of good that I have so many of his books still to get to.
