Hey what SFF should I be excited about reading in 2016?
'Safe'
There's more to life than watching Buffy the Vampire Slayer! No. Really, there is! Honestly! Here's a place for Buffistas to come and discuss what it is they're reading, their favorite authors and poets. "Geez. Crack a book sometime."

I would tell you, but I'm actually writing that up for Mind Meld SO.
Sox, Kate Elliott has at least one book coming out this year, I think. And another of Martha Wells' Raksura books. Plus doesn't Yoon Ha Lee's first novel come out this spring? (Which reminds me that I really need to read Conservation of Shadows, it's just that I'm terrible at short story collections, I much prefer novels.)
Right now I'm reading Years of Rice and Salt, which I never got around to before. It's quite interesting, although I'm not quite sure what the point is yet...
OH GOSH I FORGOT YOON.
YES FIXING
Oh good PC, you can list Cloudbound :P

Nice! I love that I've amassed a shelf full of Buffista books.

Oooh!! (Although, alas, Sheila used a gendered pronoun when I deliberately avoided that in my story so the main character could be any gender. I corrected that in her intro to my story.)
Thanks for these, -t!
oho I didn't know that was happening ... ohgod. ::hides::
Yay PC!
As a reader, I feel spoiled with all the excellent Buffista writing I get to read (and own, so that I can re-read and re-read and re-read).
It's pretty damn sweet.
And I don't mind being able to say "My friend's book/story [some suitable comment]" on occasion
