What? She killed 'em with mathematics. What else could it have been?

Literary Buffistas 3: Don't Parse the Blurb, Dear.

There's more to life than watching Buffy the Vampire Slayer! No. Really, there is! Honestly! Here's a place for Buffistas to come and discuss what it is they're reading, their favorite authors and poets. "Geez. Crack a book sometime."

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

From the sublime to the ... ridiculous?

Thrive to spite them

The excerpt wasn't the worst thing I've ever read.

OKAY FINISHED.

God, that was beautiful. And nerve-wracking. I have more to say, but it's after midnight and I need to go to bed.

not your mom's socks.

Thank you so much Steph and Rayne and Amych and everyone who is reading. This makes my day.... and is making traveling easier. (While I was staying with JavaChick, I kept asking her if she wanted to know what happened next when she was in the middle of the book. She didn't kill me.)

not your mom's socks.

Steph, an artist named Serena Malyon did a painting that feels like that scene feels to me - you may not want to break the image from your own vision of it (and I'm really glad to hear it)... would love to see how you saw it.

if you want to see Serena's it's here: [link] another artist did a sepia study with bone shards everywhere that had me in awe. that's: [link]
