AmyLiz, you can check and SEE what's in my trashy romance box--basically anything romancey you want that's on my LibraryThing collection!! :) It's most all historicals, I only have a few random random more recent ones.
Literary Buffistas 3: Don't Parse the Blurb, Dear.
There's more to life than watching Buffy the Vampire Slayer! No. Really, there is! Honestly! Here's a place for Buffistas to come and discuss what it is they're reading, their favorite authors and poets. "Geez. Crack a book sometime."
Oh! Sorry -- for some reason I thought you hadn't listed them yet because you were unsure about keeping them. I'll go look!
Yeah, the only thing is I haven't tagged anything, sorry--but basically, I'm willing ot part with most any of them.
Heck, the rest of them I'd be willing to loan out at least.
sarameg, what's in your trashy romance box? Any historicals?
Not so much anymore. There used to be Coulters and whatnot (borrowed books was what got me hooked.)
Mostly contemporary these days. Crusie (def. not trash,) Howard (older stuff, mostly, which sometimes makes me wince) Freesomething (so freaking predictable and kinda freaking me out with the issues, but I keep buying the fuckers,) Kenyon (with-holding judgement,) and... assorted. The Nerd series. Lots of assorted. Vicki Hinze.
Man, the caveats ALSO make me wince. There's stuff there I can't really explain liking cause it pisses me off even as I enjoy it.
Oh, DUH. I conflated sarameg and meara. Sorry. I shouldn't be posting when I'm sleepy and half watching Lost.
I'll take a look at your library, meara!
AmyLiz, THANKS for outing my uh--what? list of authors. Sheesh. (No harm, no foul. It's just funny.)
I have some Stuart, I think.
Heh. I kinda figured.
AmyLiz, if you see anything you want in particular, email me a list (profile addy is fine--mearagirl, yahoo) and I'll toss together a box of those and other assorted...let you knwo if you should return any of them.
Ooof. The (first) bookcase o' vampires is entered, but not tagged. Except for those things I had to enter by hand because neither amazon.com or the Library of Congress thought they exisited.
I keep thinking about getting into Librarything, and then I think, oh yeah, that's kind of like work, and then I don't, and then it makes me kind of sad, because it's BOOKS, and then I remember the work thing again.
This is my problem, although I did create an account. It's a bit of a giggle to see all the non-librarians so excited about cataloging.

Heh. Totally. I started my account last winter, but I didn't enter more than about a dozen books before I got swamped with homework... for my Cataloging class. Although I don't actually get to do any cataloging in my current job, so now I'm getting excited again about doing it for my own collection.
