I'm just trying to tell you that we have nothing in common besides both of us liking your penis.

Literary Buffistas 3: Don't Parse the Blurb, Dear.

There's more to life than watching Buffy the Vampire Slayer! No. Really, there is! Honestly! Here's a place for Buffistas to come and discuss what it is they're reading, their favorite authors and poets. "Geez. Crack a book sometime."

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

GOD DAMMIT. I have SO much to do this week...but I read really, really fast...but I have so much to do...but the contractors are listening to sports radio and I don't like noise while I'm editing...but I should sweep...but I can't clean most of the rooms yet because they're still projects left to do...but I read really fast...but I still could do SOMETHING...but I could read it in an hour and a half...but, but, but...

I AM BEQUANDRIED.

ETA: Damn, I didn't look at the link and I thought it was out today. Sigh. Quandary gone...

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

Popping my head in here - I should subscribe now that I'm trying to be better about reading for fun.

Any Buffistas have a Kindle copy of Insurgent they would be willing to loan? That is a thing that is possible, if I understand correctly. I'm new to this whole thing and I'm like 19th in line for a library copy and I just finished Divergent and I'm not a patient person.

Eeep?

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

Suzi, I've got one. How do I do the lending thing?

Ummmm...from the Amazon page...

To loan a Kindle book:
1. Go to the Kindle Store from your computer, and then locate the title you'd like to loan.
2. On the product detail page, click Loan this book. You will be sent to the Loan this book page.
3. Enter the recipient's e-mail address and an optional message.
Note: Be sure to send the Kindle book loan notification to your friend's personal e-mail address and not their Send-to-Kindle e-mail address.
4. Click Send now.

My profile addy is good.

ETA - THANK YOU!!!!

I gotta warn you to brace yourself for Allegiant. It really goes off the rails. (And I say that as someone who really enjoyed the first two books.)

Eeeep. Well, I'm already sucked into the world and I'm a completist. So...but thanks for the warning. Maybe by the time I get through Insurgent my library hold on Allegiant will be available.

I'm just looking forward to reading on the airplane home tonight.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

Does anyone know how you get the books you have read on Goodreads to count toward your challenge? I google and it says to change the date read, but I can't see how to do that on the iPhone app!
