Understood.
For the record, that's my tag for really geeky or just plain bad media tie-ins.
Like, err, the three Dark Angel novels listed there.
Buffy ,'Dirty Girls'
There's more to life than watching Buffy the Vampire Slayer! No. Really, there is! Honestly! Here's a place for Buffistas to come and discuss what it is they're reading, their favorite authors and poets. "Geez. Crack a book sometime."
Understood.

Heh. Point.
Okay, now all my books are entered. Graphic novels and that one dictionary that's just not near any of the other books. And while I was here I scanned the cover of the Wolverine graphic novel that wasn't in by my ISBN (WTF?). Backing away from the LibraryThing for the night.

Hmm. More tagging needs doing. Just not tonight. I swear.
ita, if the forums seem too dense, I'd just email the LT guy directly. He seems insanely responsive. I've been meaning to do it myself...
ita, it drives me batshit too. I did ask on one of the forums, and other than someone saying their group was stalled at some (much higher) number too, got nothin. Emailing seems like the way to go.
So far, tagging has started with "what I've not read" which is actually a boon. Makes me want to read those books!
Me too! If only to keep that tag from getting embarrassingly large on the tag cloud.

ETA: aaaand just looking at that list I can spot a few missed tags. Back to LibraryThing!
ita, how did you enter your comics? I couldn't find any ISBN numbers on mine, so I'm guessing you went by titles and issues?
Hmm. I guess I could just try it and see what happens....
My tags are lame. I need more tags.

Oh god. I'm only planning on entering my graphic novels/trade paperbacks. If I start entering single issues, I'll need you all to stage an intervention.
Crackheads comma you are all.
I'm totally not unpacking the short boxes. I get tempted to, someone come shoot me, okay?
Yeah, it was only graphic novels. Which reminds me--my deck of stretching cards had an ISBN, so I guess that my Gray's Anatomy deck does too and I can enter those in as well.

I used to maintain a database of mine, and even tried to find an app for the Palm Pilot so I could back issue shop in peace (this was after the semi-successful Excel spreadsheet printed out on index cards experiment). Nothing was just right.
