Rainbow Rowell's Landlines is fun.
I really enjoyed Fangirl.
I second the Shades of Milk and Honey rec, too.
'Our Mrs. Reynolds'
There's more to life than watching Buffy the Vampire Slayer! No. Really, there is! Honestly! Here's a place for Buffistas to come and discuss what it is they're reading, their favorite authors and poets. "Geez. Crack a book sometime."

I somehow know nothing about recent literature. Now I want to read Longbourne!
I haven't read Longbourne but second all the other recs above!
Longbourne is excellent, but if you're looking for "light", I'd go with Shades before Longbourne.
I read Longbourn (no "e") for my upcoming book salon (classic literary fan fiction) and agree that it's very well done.
Well, I used up some gift cards and bought a bunch of ebooks last night. Thanks again.
I just got my daily BookBub ebook offer emails--and the first book in the list is one I edited for Deena's imprint, Drollerie Press! The Chocolatier's Wife, I'm so thrilled the author found another outlet for it!
Oh right! No 'e', it's been a while since I read the original.
So you recommend it, Connie? Worth the $.99?
I found it very charming as I was working on it, and there were elements that I wish I'd written. Yes, for $.99.
Plus it's been through another editing pass since I worked on it.
