Very cool, Jilli!
Literary Buffistas 3: Don't Parse the Blurb, Dear.
There's more to life than watching Buffy the Vampire Slayer! No. Really, there is! Honestly! Here's a place for Buffistas to come and discuss what it is they're reading, their favorite authors and poets. "Geez. Crack a book sometime."
Awesome, Jilli!
The Delicate Dependency by Michael Talbot, one of my favorite vampire novels ever, has just been republished by Valancourt Books
Thanks for that, Jilli. I'd never heard of it and I'm really glad to have read it now.
Nice job on the foreword, too. Those seem tricky and yours is a good one.
Thank you so much! I agonized a bit over it, because it's a book I adore.
Of course, now that I've read the book I need to re-read the foreword. And then re-read the book.
But first...
EEEEEE I have new Skullduggery Pleasant to read! Not the novel, of course, but new-to-me (possibly legit not published before, I'm not sure) short stories. Yay!
Anyone read the new outlander book? I had to re-read the previous one because I couldn't remember most of it. I'm wondering how many more books she's planning--there are several open plot lines.
We're on vacation, and the house we're in has Good Omens on its shelf. I've never read it, so I snagged it. Damn, it is hilarious!

I forgot to order it before we left for vacation. Maybe if I order it now, it'll be waiting for me when we get home.
Tim is reading Last Stand of Dead Men (finally) while we're on vacation. I've been bugging him to read it so that I can share my trauma.
If y'all don't already know, the current Humble eBook Bundle is all sci-fi right now - [link]
I love that humble bundle.
Weightless Books is dropping the latest issue of Beneath Ceaseless Skies early - I'm completely biased, but I like this issue very much. The stories will be online, free, later this month. [link]
If you're a fan of Max Gladstone's Craft Sequence, I'm interviewing him today for the Cooking the Books podcast (shiny new logo is by Raq!)... if you want to email me questions, profile addy is good.
DH is still reading The Goblin Emperor and loving it. He reads slow.

EEEEEE!!!! I just read these recently and adored them. I'm probably too late to contribute a question, but if I'm not, Sox, do please tell him that he's got at least 1 fan in St. Louis who is very much looking forward to reading Full Fathom Five.
