Ah, Kindle. I can never get Amazon stuff to work properly with my systems.
Literary Buffistas 3: Don't Parse the Blurb, Dear.
There's more to life than watching Buffy the Vampire Slayer! No. Really, there is! Honestly! Here's a place for Buffistas to come and discuss what it is they're reading, their favorite authors and poets. "Geez. Crack a book sometime."
It's actually an ebook orginally. I just said "Kindle" because that is what I have.
I'm sure that there is something similar for other ebooks.
The down side is that the 3rd book ends on a heck of a cliffhanger and I don't know how long the wait will be for the next one.
You need to download "send to Kindle", then you can right click on the file and send it to Kindle.
Ah, download. You need an administrator password (and a decoder ring, and Level 7 clearance, or something) to download much of anything on the computers here. So reading on the computer it is. Maybe I'll figure out Kindling when I get home tonight.
Drat it. First 2 chapters free. Guess that $.99 on Amazon's the best deal after all.

I have no idea how The Toast managed to escape my notice for so long.
I love that site. And Our Holli writes for them sometimes!
Random question--can anyone recommend good Veronica Mars fic? Especially anything super long and plotty? I mean, I know I could just go to AO3 and find things, but I remember so much good Harry Potter stuff that was just MEATY, but much of it was found in bizarro places, and for some reason I was never into VM fic while it was on, so maybe I missed good stuff that never got to AO3...
meara, a friend of mine wrote a really good VM story set after the end of the show. ISTR it was Veronica/Logan, if that's not an issue. Here we are: [link]
