Lorne: You know what they say about people who need people. Connor: They're the luckiest people in the world. Lorne: You been sneaking peeks at my Streisand collection again, Kiddo? Connor: Just kinda popped out.

Literary Buffistas 3: Don't Parse the Blurb, Dear.

There's more to life than watching Buffy the Vampire Slayer! No. Really, there is! Honestly! Here's a place for Buffistas to come and discuss what it is they're reading, their favorite authors and poets. "Geez. Crack a book sometime."

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

I've started the Gone Girl audiobook. How do you spell Nick's sister's name? Go?

Because books.

Yeah. It's short for Margo, if I remember right.

Ah, that makes sense.

I like the woman reading Amy more than the guy reading Nick. She's got the more fun part so far, though.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

P-C, I thought you read the book before? Am I wrong.

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

ooh! I saw a book in the store a while ago - "Apocalypse Cow" - about (you guessed it) zombie cows. (P-C reminded me because, you know, COW)

Also, in sort-of literary news, Tom and Lorenzo have a book out. Nowhere near as much fun as their website ... I skimmed through the first couple chapters and it seems more sad and cynical than snarky and funny. They're appearing at a local bookstore to read, answer questons, and sign books.

You are wrong. I read Sharp Objects years ago, though.

"What kind of magical sunshine and lollipop world do you live in? Because you need to be medicated."-SFist

Should I have any interest in seeing a press screening of Divergent if I'm not planning on reading the book?

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

I'm in the middle of Allegiant, and I wonder if these might not make better movies than books.

Which isn't a definitive answer, but I do think it's a generally interesting story, and the elder portion of the cast should be good.
