I bought the second and third books used (in hardcover, because ... I have the first one in hardcover, and they have to match), and the third actually came first -- very distressing! And it's huuuuuuge! I told my mom (who read the first one when I told her to) that you had said the third one is a real heartbreaker, too. I can't wait!

Is there some sort of welcome or orientation table that the ASOIAF fandom has set up for once you've reached the end of the published books? A "Now Begins the Waiting" kiosk, perhaps? "Winds of Winter is Coming...eventually"?

I binge read 5,000 pages. I haven't even begun to figure out what I think of it.
I was doing that thing where you analyze the author but it kinda creeped me out so I tried to avoid it. I wanted to know nothing. As much as possible.
