Spike: At least give me Wesley's office since he's gone. Angel: He's not gone. He's on a leave of absence. Spike: Yeah, right. Boo-hoo. Thought he killed his bloody father. Try staking your mother when she's coming on to you! Harmony: Well…that explains a lot.

Literary Buffistas 3: Don't Parse the Blurb, Dear.

There's more to life than watching Buffy the Vampire Slayer! No. Really, there is! Honestly! Here's a place for Buffistas to come and discuss what it is they're reading, their favorite authors and poets. "Geez. Crack a book sometime."

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

The voice at the other end of the line gave a sigh, like a mighty oak toppling into a great river, or something else that didn’t sound like a sigh if you gave it a moment’s thought.

::dies::

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Renowned author Dan Brown gazed admiringly at the pulchritudinous brunette’s blonde tresses, flowing from her head like a stream but made from hair instead of water and without any fish in.

I want to marry this reviewer.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

flowing from her head like a stream but made from hair instead of water and without any fish in.

This is the best review ever.

Thrive to spite them

On Facebook Amazon Kindle posted this -

This year's most anticipated thriller comes out tomorrow. Do you know what Kindle book it is? Pre-order tonight and read it at midnight.

And I thought - it's gotta be Dan Brown.

It is.

There are a lot of positive reactions. I really wanted to post It made his insect eyes flash like a rocket, but I didn't.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Happy to report that the wolf howl recording seems to do the trick. Benji downstairs may not mind his owner's attempts to interrupt his barking jags, but he clearly doesn't want to draw attention to himself once he thinks White Fang is on the premises.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

I'm reading Midnight Blue-Light Special, and I just love Istas and the Aeslin mice. (I'm at the part where they've moved to the old dragon lair, and Istas has met the mice and agreed not to eat them, and is going to eat rat with the mice. LOVE.)
