Huh, le nubian, that's interesting. I'm planning on reading Old Man's War and the rest of the series soon. With regards to The Human Division, though, it appears that it has been renewed for a second season, so maybe a conclusion of some sort is forthcoming? He's experimenting with the serial novel format.

Literary Buffistas 3: Don't Parse the Blurb, Dear.
There's more to life than watching Buffy the Vampire Slayer! No. Really, there is! Honestly! Here's a place for Buffistas to come and discuss what it is they're reading, their favorite authors and poets. "Geez. Crack a book sometime."
So, I heard it has been renewed, but I'm kind of not interested. I talk a big game, so I might just return to it if I get bored or something.
I don't expect a "she saved the world" kind of Buffy thing, but you know how like with Feed, there was an underlying BIG mystery (or two) going on, but there were book to book plot arcs that propelled the narrative?
Nothing propels the narrative.
I have never read a book like this before.
Heh. Well, it'll be interesting when I get to it.
Are the InCryptid fans aware of the Jonathan and Fran stories Seanan's been posting for free? They're a lot of fun, and today's story is great.
No! And thanks!
For what it's worth, the rust in the water was temporary - they'd been working on the water heater - and it cleared in a minute or so. Just enough to scare me.
I just realized that HoL may have quashed my dream of a secret passageway in my house.
Mad thanks to PC for a favor of the introducing kind.
You're quite welcome.
Has anyone else gotten the new Kindle update?? It's so rare that updates don't make me decry change in general, but the new look is kind of snazzy, and HOLY SHIT THE TIME TO READ FEATURE IS ALL I EVER WANTED. It calculates your reading speed and tells you how long you have until the end of the chapter and the book. Finally, FINALLY, this changes everything.
Update?
